Meta is now keeping Horizon Worlds available on its virtual reality headsets, after announcing a day earlier that it would be shut down. Meta CTO Andrew Bosworth said on Instagram on Wednesday that existing games will remain available "for the foerseeable future.

According to an Instagram post from Meta's CTO Andrew Bosworth, Meta is not shutting down VR support for Horizon Worlds after all, which should come as a huge relief to, like, five people.

Meta is shutting down Horizon Worlds, the company's virtual reality social network, on June 15. The platform, originally designed for Quest VR headsets, will still be available on a mobile app.

Meta Quest virtual reality (VR) headsets will no longer be able to access the Horizon Worlds app, and Horizon Worlds will no longer be available in VR, after June 15.
