Britain's North Sea-focused Harbour Energy said on Wednesday it has been named operator of the Zama oil field in Mexico, after project partners Pemex, Grupo Carso and Talos Energy agreed to the appointment.

Harbour Energy PLC (LSE:HBR) has been appointed operator of the Zama oil project offshore Mexico. The appointment was agreed by the Zama project partners and approved by Mexico's Ministry of Energy, known as SENER.
