Nestle will sell its mainstream vitamins, supplements and minerals business to Yellow Wood Partners, the latest move to tighten its portfolio and focus on core categories.

Nestle said ​on Tuesday ‌it has agreed ​to divest ​its mainstream vitamins, ⁠minerals ​and supplements ​business to U.S.-based Yellow ​Wood ​Partners for $1 billion.

Indian authorities have raided an illegal operation in Mumbai that faked expiry dates and nutritional information on ​popular food export products manufactured by PepsiCo , Nestle , Coca-Cola and Unilever , seizing goods worth nearly $80,000.

Raw coffee costs have eased from last year's highs, but remain historically elevated.

Nestle wants India to consult with companies when drafting rules for front-of-pack health labelling on food ‌and drinks to ensure it is done "scientifically," its chief executive said, amid a public debate on the lack of such measures in the country.
