Jefferies has increased its price target on Hochschild Mining PLC (LSE:HOC, OTCQX:HCHDF, FRA:H3M), the precious metals producer, to 700p from 625p, a 12% rise that implies the same percentage upside from the current share price of 625.50p. The global investment bank's net asset value estimate rose approximately 10% as its model rolled forward, despite slightly higher cost assumptions.

Hochschild Mining LON: HOC reported what Chief Executive Officer Eduardo Landin described as its strongest-ever half-year financial results, supported by higher gold and silver prices, operating cash flow from its Peruvian and Argentine mines, and progress in restoring operations at Mara Rosa in Brazil.

The miner reported higher earnings over the first half year as average gold price rose 47% and while silver prices were 130% higher.

Hochschild Mining PLC (LSE:HOC, OTCQX:HCHDF) more than doubled adjusted earnings in the first half of 2026 as stronger gold and silver prices offset lower production and higher operating costs. Adjusted EBITDA rose 119% to US$491.5 million in the six months to 30 June from US$224.5 million a year earlier, while revenue increased 62% to US$844.4 million.
