The German delivery company said its management and supervisory boards had independently reviewed the U.S. giant's offer.

Delivery Hero ETR: DHER reported accelerating second-quarter growth and raised its full-year outlook across gross merchandise value, revenue, adjusted EBITDA and free cash flow, as the company said investments in its “Everyday App” strategy were supporting both customer engagement and profitability.

Competition has been "pretty brutal" in some of Delivery Hero's key markets over the past couple ​of years, but growing its subscriber base has helped ‌the business, CEO Niklas Östberg said on Thursday.

The company now projects on-year like-for-like group revenue growth of 17% to 19%, up from 14% to 16% previously.
